THE CLIENT
Our client, LWHT, specialises in women's healthcare and that of their babies - both within the hospital and community. The only specialist Trust in the UK and the most significant women's hospital must remain accessible and responsive to patients but guarantee safety and security.

THE SERVICE
To support Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust to review its current security arrangements across the organisation following a terrorist attack on the 14th of November 2021. The phased approach assesses security arrangements to identify risks and vulnerabilities and uses findings to provide recommendations. Recommendations were bespoke to the LWHT, scalable to the threat, practical, cost-effective, and capable of assuring Trust leadership within an acceptable timeframe.  

THE OUTCOME
A comprehensive review document was developed and presented to the Trust Board. Red Octopus Solutions continues to work with the Trust during implementing recommendations, notably the delivery of specialist training.
